ISIS
This is a beautifully designed costume.  It is identical to the Cleopatra except
done in silver (see Cleopatra for more photos of the design).  The bead and
sequin workmanship is masterful.  It has a mix of sequins, beads, fringe, ball
beads, and silver rhinestones that is truly spectacular.  This costume is a
stunning beauty that will dazzle your audience.  Like the Cleopatra, you will
feel as if you are drenched in jewels!   If you are a professional dancer, this
costume is a must have for your costume wardrobe.

As usual, I had trouble taking photos due to the effect of natural vs. artificial
lighting.  Yellow tones from a light bulb made the costume look "pearl"
colored or white, but the photo on the left of me wearing the full costume
shows that it is clearly a very true silver.
The hip belt is 40 inches long but will fit larger hips, too
(*see note about sizing at bottom of page). It fits
smaller hips just by overlapping.  The bra cup will fit a
size A (with padding) B (may possibly need padding),
C, or a D (if you are a D, this top will show lots of
cleavage).  The under bust measurement is 33 1/4
inches.  This is a very flattering costume.

FUN FACTS:  In ancient Egyptian mythology, Isis was known as being
the goddess of magic and healing. Egyptians believed that the flooding
of the Nile happened every year because of the tears Isis shed for her
dead husband, Osiris.  Throughout history, cults continued to worship
Isis and many of the priests and priestesses of her cult were healers and
were believed to have special powers such as dream interpretation.

The photo on the left gives
you an idea of what the bra
top would look like if you
changed it into a halter.
Halters look good if you
prefer to enhance your
breasts more, which is
what I usually do to a
costume (but I don't alter
these costumes in any
way--they arrive brand
new to you without any
previous adjustments
made.
Left:  detail of bra cup.   Above:  detail of belt.

These closeup photos show the ball beads and rhinestones
well, but do not clearly show that the entire base of the
costume is solid silver sequins underneath.  This costume
is truly a work of art!!!
About the UNDER-BUST measurement:  The
under-bust measurement is the measurement of the back
straps and under the bra cups.
Do not confuse it with your
bra size!  For example, depending on the bra manufacturer, I
wear either a 34 or 36B bra.  But my under-bust measurement
for costume purposes is 29 inches.  So don't think that
because a costume's under-bust measurement is smaller
than your bra size that it doesn't fit.  This costume's back
strap
OVERLAPS 4 inches on me even though I'm a "36"
bra size and this costume's under-bust is 33--1/4.  Usually
there is lots of overlap and you just move the bra hook on the
back strap to adjust it.  Occasionally, only if you are very
large framed, you might have to add a bra extender from your
fabric store.  Measure underneath your breasts and around to
get your under-bust measurement.  You'll see that its smaller
than your bra size.

**Note About Sizing:
I choose the costumes carefully with a focus on 2 things:
1)  The cups are adaptable to fit a range of cup sizes as opposed to just ONE cup size only (such as AA, A, B, C,
or D).  Instead, I look for cups that will fit both an A and B, or a B and a C.  Some times I find cups that, because
of the design, or with some padding, will fit an A, B or C.  When you receive your costume, check first to see if
the cup size will work for you.  If it does not, return the costume immediately to get your refund.
2)  I choose hip bands that are adaptable by simply placing the hooks where you want so you can make it
smaller or larger depending on your hip size.  (hooks are included in your package, but not sewn on to the
costume--this is done purposely so that you can make it fit your exact size).  The belt can fit even larger hips
than the measurement stated just by placing the belt up higher towards the waist as opposed to riding very low
on the hips.  Take your hip measurement where you will actually "wear" the hip belt--usually its somewhere
between your waist and your hip measurement--therefore a 39" belt can actually accommodate much larger
"hips" because it is worn more under the waistline instead of exactly at the largest part of your hips.
The main concern is that the bra cups and belt fit.  Straps are usually easy to adjust and I choose lengthy straps
as opposed to short ones.  Adding to a strap is difficult, but to shorten a strap is usually easier, or you can
make it a halter.
Do not make any alterations until you decide to keep the costume--you will not be refunded once you
have made alterations.
